  • Award Ceremony – Road Safety Awareness Summer Camp 2025

    The Road Safety Cell of the Delhi Traffic Police held the award ceremony for its Road Safety Awareness Summer Camp 2025 on 25th July 2025 at Adarsh Auditorium, Delhi Police Headquarters, New Delhi. The event was graced by Sh. Ajay Chaudhry, Sp.l CP (TMD Zone-II & HQ), as Chief Guest, along with senior officers including Addl. CP Satya Vir Katara.

    During the event, Sh. Ajay Chaudhry emphasized the importance of traffic awareness among students, urging them to be responsible road users and spread the message of road safety. He appreciated the efforts of the Road Safety Cell in educating youth.

    This year, the summer camp was held from 19th May to 6th June 2025 across four Traffic Training Parks and witnessed participation from around 6,000 students (Classes VI–XII).

  • Road Safety Programme at Jamia University: Engaging the Youth

    A special Road Safety Awareness Programme was also organized at Jamia Millia Islamia University, where 120 students participated.

    The sessions included : Road Safety Awareness discussions, Demonstrations on CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), Awareness about RLVD (Red Light Violation Detection) and OSVD (Over Speed Violation Detection) cameras.

    The session was conducted by Insp. Abhishek Verma, who shared valuable insights on modern road safety enforcement methods. Additionally, students spread awareness through Nukkad Natak (street plays), creatively delivering the message of safe and responsible road usage to their peers.

  • Felicitation of Traffic Praharis

    Delhi Traffic Police organized a felicitation ceremony today at Adarsh Auditorium, Delhi Police Headquarters, to honour Traffic Praharis.

    Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and presented medals and cash prizes to Traffic Prahari volunteers who earned the highest reward points between September 2024 and February 2025 through the Prahari mobile application.

    He also felicitated five Delhi Traffic Police officials with trophies for their dedication and exemplary service.
