Celebrates 79th Independence Day - One India, One Spirit, One Tiranga

As part of the 79th Independence Day celebrations, Delhi Traffic Police launched a week-long ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
The initiative, led by Addl. CP Shri Satyavir Katara, aimed to foster patriotism and honour the Tricolour.
Citizens were encouraged to display the national flag and remember the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
A key highlight was the Tiranga Yatra, involving 250 enthusiastic school students.
The rally, flagged off by DCP Shri Shashank Jaiswal, passed through BKS Road.
Students marched with flags and slogans, creating an atmosphere of unity and national pride.
Award Ceremony – Road Safety Awareness Summer Camp 2025

The Road Safety Cell of Delhi Traffic Police held its Road Safety Awareness Summer Camp 2025 Award Ceremony on 25th July 2025 at Adarsh Auditorium, Delhi Police HQ.
Sh. Ajay Chaudhry, Spl. CP (TMD Zone-II & HQ), was the Chief Guest, joined by senior officers including Addl. CP Satya Vir Katara.
Sh. Chaudhry stressed the need for traffic awareness among students and encouraged them to be responsible road users.
The Summer Camp 2025, held from 19th May to 6th June, engaged around 6,000 students (Classes VI–XII) across four Traffic Training Parks.
Road Safety Programme at Jamia Hamdard University: Engaging the Youth

A special Road Safety Awareness Programme was organised at Jamia Hamdard University, with the participation of 120 students.
The programme included interactive sessions on:
Road Safety Awareness discussions includes CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) demonstrations and awareness about RLVD (Red Light Violation Detection) and OSVD (Over Speed Violation Detection) camera systems
The session was conducted by Inspector Abhishek Verma, who shared key insights on modern road safety enforcement techniques.
Students also performed Nukkad Nataks (street plays) to creatively spread the message of safe and responsible road use among their peers.
Felicitation of Traffic Praharis

The Delhi Traffic Police organized a felicitation ceremony at Adarsh Auditorium, Delhi Police Headquarters, to honour Traffic Praharis.
The event was graced by Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, as the Chief Guest.
Shri Saxena presented medals and cash prizes to Traffic Prahari volunteers who earned the highest reward points via the Prahari mobile app (September 2024 – February 2025).
In recognition of outstanding dedication, five Delhi Traffic Police officials were also felicitated with trophies for their exemplary service.
The event celebrated citizen participation in promoting road safety and enforcement.
