Delhi Traffic Police organized a felicitation ceremony today at Adarsh Auditorium, Delhi Police Headquarters, to honour Traffic Praharis.

Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and presented medals and cash prizes to Traffic Prahari volunteers who earned the highest reward points between September 2024 and February 2025 through the Prahari mobile application.

He also felicitated five Delhi Traffic Police officials with trophies for their dedication and exemplary service.

The Police Families Welfare Society (PFWS) celebrated its 53rd Foundation Day with great fervor and pride at the Adarsh Auditorium, Delhi Police Headquarters.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Smt. Sangita Saxena, educationist and social worker, who honored the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Smt. Ritu Arora, President of PFWS, along with core committee members and other distinguished guests, was also present.

The highlight of the day was a spiritual talk on stress management and inner peace, delivered by the renowned life coach Shri Gaur Gopal Das.

Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Honorable Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, inaugurated the Smart Police Booth at Terminal 3, Arrival Area, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

The booth, established by Delhi Police in collaboration with the GMR Group, is a major initiative aimed at improving passenger safety, enhancing security measures, and providing efficient, citizen-centric services at one of the busiest airports in the country.

In the august presence of Sh. Vinai Kumar Saxena, Honorable Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, along with Sh. Sanjay Arora, Commissioner of Police, Delhi, symbolizing the collective commitment of all stakeholders in eradicating the menace of drugs.

A Mega Drug Destruction event was held to destroy 1,643.074 kilograms of drugs.

The event took place at Biotic Waste Solutions Pvt. Ltd., SSI Industrial Area, GT Karnal Road, Delhi.
