Shri Shashank Jaiswal is a 2014-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer from Delhi, with over 11 years of distinguished service in the police force. He holds a B. Tech (Mechanical) degree from Delhi College of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a dual specialization in Finance and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode, Kerala. Prior to joining the police service, he gained valuable experience working with top reputed companies in the corporate sector.

Over the course of his career, Shri Jaiswal has demonstrated exceptional competence in both operational and administrative domains. He has served in several critical roles, including Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) across various districts and specialized units in Delhi such as Vigilance, North East, North West, East, and Central districts. From 2018 to 2022, he also held the position of DCP in Mizoram, further broadening his administrative and field experience.

Currently, Shri Jaiswal serves as the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (Headquarters). His outstanding contributions to policing and administration have earned him multiple commendations from senior officers, culminating in the prestigious Commissioner of Police’s Disc for Excellence in Administrative Duties in 2024.
